Here at Pay Plus Benefits we are constantly putting together design teams to
come up
with innovative ideas and solutions to help improve our clients’ daily work processes. Maggie Shallman’s role is to help facilitate communication at team brainstorming sessions, record action plans, and making sure new projects move forward. Maggie earned her B.S. in Parks and Recreation Management with an extended major in Outdoor Education and a Minor in Theatre from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. Throughout her career she’s held positions ranging from political fundraising for a Washington State Legislature candidate to Associate Television Producer for Washington State University and KTNW’s community outreach program. She’s also helped non-profit programs in the community succeed through fundraising and awareness promotion. In her words Maggie describes innovation as, “a combination of a new idea, right timing, courage, and passion happening all at the same time.” In fact, courage is a trait Maggie does not lack – she’s bungee jumped from the 2nd highest bridge in New Zealand!
